I write a column on local history for the Powder River Examiner in Broadus, Montana. I usually write one column a month, but that schedule can vary.
I'm in the process of writing several books on a variety of local history topics. I've also assisted my father and others in researching and editing their own publications
I grew up and graduated high school in Sheridan, Wyoming. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Wyoming and then obtained a Master of Health Administration from the University of Oklahoma. After 25 eventful years in hospital administration, I came back to my family's red angus cattle ranch and helped them wind down operations. Now I live in Birney, enjoying the challenge and the discipline of researching the history I thought I knew. There is so much more to learn, and I look forward to bringing it to you in a form that is entertaining and thought-provoking
